The Union of the Seraphim Veil, more often referred to as the Union, is an interstellar nation located in the Voidsea of Sector A1-0. The Union borders the Ventuu Badlands, the Desolation of Sach Mira, the Orion League, the Vandalence Compact, and the independent settlements.

Etymology

The name 'Union of the Seraphim Veil' refers to the now destroyed home world of the Serniani, Seraphina's Veil. Perched precariously on the edge of a black hole, its projected destruction and the subsequent evacuation effort in 8593 BBT / 10120 BSY led to the creation of the Seraphina's Rest Orbital Districts, and the creation of the Union as a whole.

History

The history of the Union begins in the late 8600s / 10127 BSY when scientists projected the destruction of Seraphina within fifty years, being torn apart by the Roche Limit of the black hole.
