The Kosbaran Football Board (Kosbaraans: Kosbaraanse Sokkerraad) (KSR) is the governing body of association football in Kosbareland. It is a national organization that oversees the Kosbaran National Football Team for international play. Within Kosbareland, it oversees national professional and amateur club championships.

History

The KSR wanted to be a founding member of the IUFA upon its inception in 1956 but was barred from doing so because of the international boycott of Kosbaran international matches at the time. It was finally able to join in 1990, after the boycott was over.

Host of the 1934 Imperial Cup

Kosbareland was given in 1930, the task to organize the second Imperial Cup, following the success of the first edition held in Ouland that same year.

International boycott

Many international nations started a boycott of the Kosbaran Team after the occupation and annexation of the Republic of Orange in 1919 and then with the policies established by the Kosbaran Party beginning in 1940. The boycott continued until the democratization of the nation that started in 1990.

Host of the 1994 Imperial Cup

Kosbareland was selected in 1900 to host the 1994 Imperial Cup, for the first time since 1934. Because of the international boycott, the country had been barred from participating in the Imperial Cup from 1940 until 1990.

Host of the 2012 FWC

In 2012, Kosbareland hosted the 2012 FWC, following their championship victory in the 2008 FWC.
