Dainēsa State Technical University (Dainēsa Technical, DSTU, or DGTU) is a public research university located in Dainēsa, Pelinai. DSTU is the largest and oldest university in the DSU system, and offers bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and Ph.D.s in a wide variety of STEM fields.

Dainēsa Technical presently shares some of its manufacturing technology facilities with Dainēsa State Vocational University, as well as a student transfer standardization agreement that allows DGPU students to transfer to Dainēsa Technical as second-year undergraduates after completing an associate degree in engineering, science, or applied sciences.

History

Academics

Dainēsa Technical is the largest research university in Pelinai by number of concurrently enrolled students; it is primarily known for its programs in electronics, mechanical, and aerospace engineering, as well as in mineralogy and optical sciences.
DGTU practices the Pelinese University System. Conventional classes are arranged to be taken as blocks of 8 credit hours per semester, and are intended to be performed alongside an additional 4-6 recognized credit hour-equivalents such as University-sponsored internships, lab hours, design projects, and other practical experience activities.

Dainēsa Technical’s university baseball team is the Dainēsa Mountaineers, which competes at the collegiate level in Pelinai.
