The flag of Transsuneria (Transsunerian: Transsunerias flag) has a white rejnblom centred on a yellow chevron aligned to the hoist-side on a field of red, separated by a white border. It was the winning entry in a public competition designed by Frank Valder and was adopted following an amendment to the Constitution of 2016 in 2017.
The flag has an officially adopted symbolism. The colours of the flag red, white and yellow represent suffering, peace, and the nation's beaches respectively. The so-called rejnblom, an endemic flower that blooms at the start of the monsoon season, represents rebirth and hope. [1]
The flag is called the "chocolate bar" (Transsunerian: de cokolatplate) colloquially due to resembling a chocolate bar in an opened wrapping.
History
Transsuneria has had two official flags before the current. The first flag was used after the unification of the Transsunerian islands in 1905 until the dissolution of the First Republic in 1956 following the First Civil War. The second flag was in use until the reformation from the Second Republic into the Third Republic in 2017. During the Second Civil War, the first flag was used by the resistance to Soormann.

War flag
The war flag of Transsuneria, which also is the naval ensign, is used by the Transsunerian Defence Forces. It has five equal horizontal stripes, alternating red and yellow, with a white chevron aligned to the hoist-side. The flag was inspired by the flag of Sedunn.
