The Strategic Intervention, Emergency Guard, and Enforcement Component (SIEGE Component or simply SIEGE) is a government agency that oversees Valkyrian intelligence, military, and police activities that are considered essential to the security of the state. SIEGE was founded after the passing of the Expansion of Security Powers Act 2019 (ESPA 19) with the stated intent by Chancellor Stella Kaufman that all existential threats to Valkyria would be responded to by the agency.
