Folsberg was overthrown as President by the 2022 Ryccian coup d'etat. She was imprisoned by State Administration Council, the military junta that took power as a result of the coup. The dissenting Mirrey administration formally recognized her as the official President up until the time of her death, when she was executed along with the ousted Prime Minister William Altrecht and his entire cabinet when more radical officers took over the military regime in its last days.
