The Lampshade Galaxy (IPA: /læmp.ʃeɪd/) is a giant barred spiral galaxy with a D25 isophotal diameter of approximately 111,9 kiloparsecs, or about 365.200 light years.

The Lampshade Galaxy is thought to contain approximately 730 billion stars, with an estimated total virial mass of 4.2×1012 standard stellar masses.
