The Pacivision Song Contest 2022 is set to be the 2nd edition of the Pacivision Song Contest. The contest is currently in its bidding phase, following the 2021 contest in Südtor, GI-Land. The contest is due to be organised by the Pacivision Executive Board (PEB) and the host broadcaster is to be determined.
Location
According to the rules, the host broadcaster of the winning song would receive the rights to host the next edition of the contest. But due to unforeseen circumstances. A winner has not been chosen.
Preparations for the 2022 contest began around September. When the PEB declares its intention to rotate the host country and open bids for cities and broadcasters to host the contest.
Bidding phase
On XX September 2021, PEB launched the bidding process and published a list of criteria and requirements for the host city and venue. Interested broadcasters are to submit bids on behalf of the city through postal means, after which PEB would proceed to send all of them a bid book with more detailed requirements for the cities and broadcaster to submit their plans for review. The cities have until XX October 2021 to draft and submit their detailed plans.
On 22 September 2021, on behalf of the city of Gralois, Ikoania officially announced its bid, proposing the Century Arena as a possible venue to host the event.
The choice among them was meant to be announced by the end of December.

Provisional list of participating countries
Participating countries had until XX December 2021 to submit their applications for participation in the contest, and have until XX January 2022 to withdraw their applications without facing financial sanctions.

Eligibility for potential participation in the Pacivision Song Contest requires a national broadcaster with active PEB membership that would be able to broadcast the contest via the Pacivision network. The PEB has issued invitations of participation in the contest to all active members.
