Last Resort Protocol, Last Resort or Ghoutluys Dous Protocol is the name given to the inter-administrative infrastructure, strategy, and actions taken in the Conglomerated States of Kalgyul with the ultimate goal of decreasing planetary habitability in the case of extraterrestrial invasion. This protocol includes multiple different strategies, all with the goal of achieving a Pyrrhic victory philosophy that makes extraterrestrial invasion long and costly for the technologically superior invader.

Destructive strategies

Physical methods

Nuclear annihilation

Arguably the oldest strategy in the Last Resort Protocol, closely related to the last actions taken by the Kluasian civilization before their own extraterrestrial invasion in Kalgyul, around 35 million years ago (0BBT). It involves quadrillions of nuclear warheads across colonized planets in the CSK connected with closed channels, tasked with the goal of the complete annihilation of the life of thousand of planets. This infrastructure involves multiple encryption systems relating to digital systems, trrarrusian thought patterns, and members for its activation. As with all systems in the Last Resort, it's a strategy that isn't limited to internal borders, can't be activated by single groups, and requires its activation in all the territory for its success.

Its ultimate mission is to avoid the establishment of the extraterrestrial invader in any habitable planet with infrastructure, and it involves a set timer for the evacuation of all personnel to battle before setting off.

Chemical contamination

This strategy involves the release of various chemicals into the atmospheres, water sources and crust of planets to difficult the establishment of population and extraction of resources. Due to the unpredictable nature of extraterrestrial biology, this strategy involves an ample catalogue of different chemicals, both toxic and non-toxic to trrarrusians, in large concentrations.

Orbital jailing

Referring to the deliberate contamination of the low orbit of planets with the creation of debris, this strategy is set to difficult the landing of probes or spaceships onto the surface of planets and the establishment of low orbit stations. This is done through the intentional collision of low orbit satellites and stations into each other. This strategy has a direct negative effect on trrarrusians fleets that are involved in battle, which is counteracted with encrypted high orbit satellites and deep space relay stations, with programmed auto destruction protocols once they don't receive signals from any trrarrusian vessels.

Stellar reheating

Involves the use of von Neumann probes to create mirrors around stars that reflect back the light towards their surface, heating up their surface and disrupting natural temperature dynamics in stellar systems. This strategy also involves the dismantling of planets for resources.

Biological method

Disease library seeding

Trrarrusians have been recompiling diseases from all the planets they have colonized, with the hope that one of them is able to have an effect on an invader specie. There are multiple stations throughout the CSK set to release von Neumann probes that carry these diseases to different planets of both the CSK and the far off corners of the sector in case of extraterrestrial invasion. This strategy is notably the only field of use of artificial intelligence in the CSK. These probes carry native diseases, modified strains, and some are able to modify their disease to add variability to the system.

Informatic method

Evolving viruses

Multiple stations are set in the CSK to retransmit different codes able to evolve as time passes, in the hope that one of them is able to infect the computer systems of an alien civilization.
