The Valkyrian Defence Force (VFS; Valkyrian: Valkyriske forsvarsstyrke) is the military of Valkyria and responsible for its defence. The military was formed from the merger of the Qvaitican Armed Forces and Fjernøy Defence Force in 2016. The jarl(skona) of Valkyria serves as the commander-in-chief of the Valkyrian Defence Force, but most of the executive authority rests in the prime minister of Valkyria, who delegates power to the minister of defence.
