Aurora (Aurora)
Terra Aurora, most commonly known as simply Aurora, is the name used to refer to the known world in the 1100s. Aurora encompasses the continent of Dracoris and the northernmost part of the continent of Macarndria as well as a number of islands of varying sizes.
Name
Terra Aurora roughly means "The Land of Dawn." While it is generally unknown where this turn of phrase comes from, it is said to be an ancient expression that predates most modern Auroran nations.

Geography
Terra Aurora is comprised of two main continents: the northern continent of Dracoris, and the northern parts of the continent Macarndria. The ocean to the North and East of Terra Aurora is known as the Oskbaric Ocean, and it notoriously dangerous to sail, with very few surviving trips beyond it and none returning with clear detail of what lies beyond. In between the two continents is the Interria Sea, a hub of both trade and piracy that is vital for many nations.
