Nikolai Kostrivich Andrezhnev (15 June 1914 - 2 February 2005) was the second Director of Prydonian Socialist Federation, and the second Pryodnian Socialist Party (Pacifica)Chairman of Prydonian Socialist Party. Andrezhnev is the mastermind behind Prydon's shift towards an Ultravisionary interpretation of socialism, in which the state pursues a series of "utopian goals" for the betterment of society. His term saw Prydon achieved exemplary scientific and engineering marvels, including spaceflight and nuclear energy. In achieving this, however, Andrezhnev masterminded the use of force labour and promoted scientific experiments on living beings, including humans. To maintain order, Andrezhnev enforced a very strict censorship, and uses the National Security Bureau to establish an all-spectrum domestic surveillance, targeting activists and political rivals both within and without the party. His hold over the party waned as he ages, especially after he suffered a stroke in 1993, and power shifted to the position of the Premier. He serves as Director of Prydon until his death in 2005, succeeded by the military strongman Lev Kifinelie.
