ASA VOT 14 Hotvemm (Pacifica)
The ASA VOT 14 Hotvemm (Austral: lightning) is a single-engine, canard delta-wing, multirole fighter aircraft designed and built by ASA by request of the Sedunnic Military Materiel Agency for use in the Sedunnic Air Force. The Hotvemm is capable of shifting between air supremacy, interdiction, reconnaissance and attack roles during flight. The Hotvemm is also capable of aerial refuelling and is designed to allow landing on rudimentary runways and public roads as part of the force dispersal doctrine.
Though having some key stealth features that reduce the radar cross-section, the Hotvemm is not considered a full stealth aircraft. The design chosen is a cost-reducing compromise, but is also uncertain how effective stealth design will be against modern and future radar and missile systems.
There are three variants of the Hotvemm:
- VOT 14 A: single-seat multirole fighter
- VOT 14 B: two-seat conversion trainer, secondary role as a strike fighter
- GVOT 14 D: two-seat strike fighter version of the G84 B with a more powerful engine and conformal fuel tanks
The VOT 14 A has also been exported to Erinor.
