Ricubai (/ˈriːkjuːbaɪ/ RIH-kew-bye) is the capital and most populous city of Esfalsa, with a population of over 2 million as of 2020. It covers an area of about 193 square kilometers, mostly next to Alder Bay.
Although officially part of the state of Avaivu, Ricubai is a de facto independent district of Esfalsa. Formed in 1043 as a seat of government for the Esfalsan Confederation, the city quickly grew in size. It was officially designated as the capital of Esfalsa following the Esfalsan Revolution in 1858.
