Dainēsa State Technical University (Dainēsa Technical, DSTU, or DGTU) is a public research university located in Dainēsa, Pelinai. DSTU is the largest and oldest university in the DSU system, and offers bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and Ph.D.s in a wide variety of STEM fields.

Dainēsa Technical presently shares some of manufacturing technology facilities with Dainēsa State Vocational University, as well as a student transfer standardization agreement that allows DGPU students to transfer to Dainēsa Technical as second-year undergraduates after completing an associate degree in engineering, science, or applied sciences.

Academics

Dainēsa Technical is the largest research university in Pelinai by number of concurrently enrolled students; it is primarily known for its programs in electronics, mechanical, and aerospace engineering, as well as in mineralogy and optical sciences.

Libraries and databases

The library system of Dainēsa Technical possesses approximately 5.1 million books in combined physical and digital formats, primarily centered around the topics of engineering and natural sciences but also including some collections of classic literature. A wide variety of STEM-related research journals and trade magazines, yearly updated reference works, and research databases are also available.
University students, alumni, and employees are afforded free access to the DGTU Unified Library System’s collection of works in person or electronically, while extra-university individuals are offered access through registration for a library card.

All member associations of the Pelinese All-Engineering Union, such as the Pelinese Union of Mechanical Engineers, maintain student chapters at Dainēsa Technical. Book publishing

The publishing house of Dainēsa Technical is DGTU Publishing House, which primarily publishes textbooks, technical books, and other similar works which have been authored by DSTU faculty. Books published by DGTU-PH are available in electronic form for free, and are commonly used in other Pelinese educational institutions.
