.gi is the country-code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Federal Republic of GI-Land. The domain is operated by the Gianlucian Network Agency (GNA) (Alman: Gianlucische Netzwerkagentur), which also operates the .at-domain for websites by or for Atlantics since 2014. The agency, although officially belonging to the Gianlucian Ministry of Infrastructure, acts independently on a non-profit basis. They are financed by subsidies from the federal and state governments, membership fees and donations. Any natural or legal person globally may become member of the GNA.
Domains registered with .gi or .at do neither require for a person to live in GI-Land or have the Gianlucian citizenship, nor are any specific second-level domains required. Internationalised domain names are supported.
