New Sol, also known as Solsys or the New Solar System, is the capital star system of the Terragen Empire. Located at the very center of the Inner Sphere, New Sol was home to the first extrasolar colony established by the Terragens more than seven thousand years ago, and possessed a seemingly natural wormhole connection to the Old Solar System in the Milky Way that then collapsed some decades after the arrival of the colonization mission.
