The wiki pages are meant to be a reference for any South Pacifican (or even beyond), so they should give an overview of the region and its place in the world. It doesn't have to be too detailed, just enough to get people familiar with the region, and give information on how the region works.

To make a new page, search the name of the page you want to create and click the link to create a page with that name.

You can add

[[Category:Regions with TSP Ambassadors]]

to add the page to this category.

Anatomy of a wiki page

Introduction

A brief summary of the region.

Infobox

Just add your regional information after the equals sign. You can remove categories that you don't want to show on the page.

To add a flag, upload a file on the Tools side bar and add it here as [[File:(filename).png]]

{{infobox diplomatic region
| conventional_long_name =
| flag =
| demonym =
| org_type =
| current_delegate =
| title_leader =
| current_leader =
| title_leader2 =
| current_leader2 =
| alignment =
| military =
| founded_date =
| founder_name =
| treaties =
| region_link = [(paste link here) link]
| forum_link = [(paste link here) link]
| discord_link = [(paste link here) link]
}}

History

To add sections, put == on each side of the name. In this section you can put a short summary of things like previous governments, significant events, and shaping ideologies.

Foreign Relations

Are they in any blocs or interregional alliances? Any interesting friendships? What's their position in the gameplay world?

Government

A summary of how the government works. A rough guideline is a sentence or two per major institution plus a few sentences on overall structure, but obviously it depends on the specific region. A link to where they store their laws would be useful but it's not necessary to go into detail on the legislature.

Culture

This is for things like "South Pacificans wear lampshades and drink SPIT", or "the NPO hates hugs", or "The Rejected Realms plays a lot of Popmaster". The little injokes that make up a regional identity!

Information for Ambassadors

Additional information that is useful for Ambassadors. For example, Ambassadors need to keep up with elections, so election dates are useful. And it's useful to note when appointments are made, even if it's just that they're arbitrary.

Things that aren't really needed

  • Real time endorsement and nation counts aren't needed - it might be relevant to mention if a region has the highest endorsements for a UCR or similar, but a lot of detail isn't needed
  • Lists of laws
  • Lists of coups (unless they're still relevant to the region)
