Mavenu served as Secretary of Foreign Affairs for the The South Pacific, last elected in November 2008 and served until March 2010. He previously held this position between August 2007-August 2008 as well as December 2005-March 2006.
He had a number of retired puppets scattered in the The South Pacific and Canada regions. Most of these puppets were made using his Nation State name and attaching a number to the end of it.
He used a number of RP character. They are FA Minster (NS Inter-regional): Sara Mavenu; FA Minister (TSP-regional): Peter Tesh; and UN Rep: Jainey Slate. However, these characters are rarely seen on the TSP forum, while Jainey Slate only appeared on the Jolt forum to condemn bad WA proposals.
Mavenu started playing Nationstates in Sept 2003[1], and was away from Nationstates following stepping down as SoFA in 2010 until 2018. They are currently a regional discord/forum mod.

With St Edmund, helped bring Suppress International Piracy to vote in September 2008, which was passed on Oct 8, 2008. It was the 20th resolution passed. It was repealed in 2023 as GA resolution #646
