McKendree Cylinders are closed, rotating cylindrical habitats up to 10,000 kilometers long, built since the Interplanetary Age. McKendree Cylinders are one of the most common habitats in the Galactyan Empire; tens of thousands of them can be found throughout all Imperial Systems, and some have even been built in foreign nations.
