| The Tarassian Union is an emerging star nation within Sector A1-0. For thousands of years it held a strong policy of isolationism, but recently has taken steps away from this harsh stance. Its form of government is unique in the sector as the star nation is run entirely by the military. The military has taken over all governmental functions and as a result there are no longer clear distinctions between civilian and military institutions. This pared with the martial culture of the Union's population, has lead to the Tarassian Union being among the most powerful military faction of Sector A1-0. | |
