The Valkyrian Defence Forces (VFS; Valkyrian: Valkyriske forsvarsstyrker) is the military of Valkyria and responsible for its defence. The military was formed from the merger of the Qvaitican Armed Forces and Winstonian Defence Force in 2016. The president of Valkyria serves as the chief commander of the Valkyrian Defence Forces, but most of the executive authority rests in the chancellor of Valkyria, who delegates power to the secretary of defence.
