"You, Zelvan, may not be the brightest or strongest, but you're cunning and the Chosen People. For that you must rule the galaxy and its species with your leash as is your destiny."

The Zelvans (singular: Zelvan, plural: Zelvans, adjective: Zelvan) are the founder species of the Zelvan Regime. This slave empire has lead the Zelvans to become extremely decadent as they believe themselves to be the rightful masters of the universe and all other species are beneath them. This religious belief has lead them to enslave multiple species and when exposed to new species, they will often see them as new opportunities to either make themselves or the Regime richer.
