The Grovne Conventions are collection of treaties and protocols negotiated in Grovne, Sedunn, that establish international legal standards for humanitarian treatment in war and other international laws e.g. concerning statehood, borders, navigation of the seas and trade. It is also a term for international laws and treaties in general.
The first treaties were signed in 1864 in the aftermath of the Karnetvorian Confederate War. The Grovne Conventions have since been amended and expanded continuously.
The Grovne Conventions are not to be confused with the Charter of the World Forum which also was drafted in Grovne or the numerous peace treaties such as the Reizen Civil War Grovne Ceasefire singed there.
