Text and/or other creative content from [[]] was copied or moved into [[]]. The former page's [ history] now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.

This template is used on many pages and changes may be widely noticed. Test changes in the template's /sandbox or /testcases subpages, or in your own user subpage. Consider discussing changes on the talk page before implementing them.

This template is used to provide documentation that content has been copied to or from other Wikipedia pages and ensure that pages containing necessary attribution aren't deleted. Adding this template on the talk page is not a substitute for attribution in the page history using edit summaries.

Usage

Be sure to use the exact page names of the articles.
The page names are automatically linked, so this template will not behave as expected if the names are enclosed in link brackets ([[ – ]]).
Any number of items can be included in the same template by enumerating the parameters (|from1=, |from2=, |from3= and so on). The numbering has to be consecutive.
