| Eager to run a ministry, Maluhia geared up and launched a campaign in the [[July 2022 Minister of Culture special election]]. Maluhia served for two months. According to Maluhia himself, he was very unproductive during his first ministerial term. Maluhia was elected as Minister of Culture again, this time in February 2023 and he served until May 2023.
