The November 2022 Minister of Engagement special election was held in November to determine the Minister of Engagement for the South Pacific.

Nominated, awaiting response

Campaigning

Each candidate vied for reaching the Cabinet. Griffindor, who lost to im_a_waffle1 as an incumbent in the October 2022 Cabinet election, campaigned on the base of the previous election. Their main focus was preparing for the potential dissolution of the Ministry of Engagement. However, they also campaigned on recruiting and integrating new players, setting presentation stands with graphics, and maintaining public infrastructure.

Maluhia, the former Minister of Culture, campaigned on also preparing for a potential realignment of the Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Engagement, or moving some of the authority from MoE to MoC. They additionally focused on setting a unified welcoming standard for new nations when they join the regional Discord server and the regional forums and getting people engaged in activities and raising participation in political work. A discussion about simplifying the regional dispatch system sparked in the published campaign thread of Maluhia, which led to them saying that they'd explore making changes to the current system.

Pronoun, the former two-time Minister of Defense, is yet to publish a campaign thread.
