The Defence Defence is Screea's sole military branch. It is a military organisation tasked with operating under Rehy for defence of its self and allies. It is the largest military under Rehy, having 1.5 trillion active personelle, 5 billion reservists, 950’309’000 ships, and 23 outposts.
The Defence Defence relies of SHIPS THAT GO IN SPACE AND ATMOSPHERE. Ke kra-scrscr ships are the smallest of these, they are fully automated drones that prioritise manoeuvrability over fire power. The largest the Defence Defence's ships are ki sca-scrscr, Deky (Defence Defence headquarters) is one of these ships. Scrscr ships are only capable of traveling through space. Like all Ruka ships, they use inter dimensional FTL travel, are powered by nuclear fusion and propelled by antimatter propulsion.
Etymology
From Scayi Hy Hy, the Defence Defence is named so due to its historical purpose.
History
In Screea's early history, Screea's military discovered that seasonal weather changes heavily impacted the nations canyon riddled terrain, often leaving assets useless: it was impossible for an Army to operate during wet season due to high water levels, contrary it was impossible for a Navy to operate in dry season due to low water levels. The Defence Defence, a branch with amphibious vehicles and flat bottomed boats was formed and tasked with defending Screea assets during venerable seasons. The formation of the branch likely formed out of service members from existing branches volunteering to guard assets around 50’000 BBT.
At 40’000 BBT numinous fishing communities where subject to a series of terrorists attacks originating from Ssca. The Defence Denfece was deployed to defend Screea and its neighbours, causing the Defence Defence to engage in what would become the Ssca dispute.
2’000 personal where originally deployed to protect assets, as it was transitional dry season. It was clear Ssca where taking advantage of Scayikra’s terrain altering weather, and another 2’000 personelle where deployed, with little effect. Following heavy casualties from both Screea’s Army and Navy, significant reforms to the Defence Defence’s structure and role occurred, and Screea decided to prioritise the Defence Defence over other branches. Evidently by 37’000 BBT Screea’s Army and Navy where abandoned, and all equipment was scrapped or modified to be used by the Defence Defence, the Defence Defence also began training former Army and Navy personal.
The Defence Defence was heavily modernised in 7’153 BBT due to the Third Ssca war. Modernisation resulted in the development and adoption of FTL travel, as well as early military space craft and advanced weapons systems. Since the conclusion of the Third Ssca war, the Defence Defence, in cooperation with Rehy, has continued to rapidly advance its technology, recognising the importance of having a technological advantage.
In 5'213 BBT, the Minister of Defence Scyruy ordered transferral of its headquarters to ship Deky, as well as the construction of two major military outposts on the borders of Rehy's territory. To date Screea has ordered the construction 23 outposts, which are shared among Rehy's member states.
Structure
The Defence Defence and Screea’s Department of Defence make Screea’s Defence Organisation, with the Defence Defence being the only military branch. It is a diarchy of the Minister of Defence and Syru, the Minister of Defence holding a position in government. The Department of Defence is made up of Defence Sciences and Technologies, Defence Intelligence, and Civilian Defence, they are staffed by both civilian and military personnel.
The currant structure of the Defence Defence was legislated in 9556 BBT with the formation of Rehy.
