The Democratic Socialist Assembly, or the DSA, is a user created region founded in 2011 by Opalaland. It is a member of the Partnership of Sovereignty.
Government
The Democratic Socialist Assembly has an Executive Body, named "The Council", a Congress that consists of citizens voluntarily joining the legislature, and a Judicial Body named "The Court".
Executive Body
The Council consists of the Delegate, Secretary-General, Councilor of Justice, Councilor of Foreign Affairs, Councilor of Domestic Affairs, and the Councilor of Roleplay.
- World Assembly Delegate - serves as the head of the region, and represents the region at the World Assembly
- Secretary-General - Conducts administrative functions for the region
- Councilor of Justice - Upholds and Maintains the rule of law within the region
- Councilor of Foreign Affairs - Negotiates with other regions on behalf of the DSA
- Councilor of Domestic Affairs - Promotes regional activities
- Councilor of Roleplay - Coordinates Roleplay activity in the region
All council members are elected during the months of January, April, July, and October. Their terms only lasts about 3 months, but have no term limits.
The founder may also exercise administrative actions, but only at the request of the congress and/or a majority of the Council.
Legislative Body
Judicial Body
The Court serves as the Judicial Body of the region. It is presided over by the High Judge. The High Judge is elected by Congress, their terms also lasts about 3 months, and has no term limits.
Information for Ambassadors
All positions (WA Delegate, Secretary, General, Councillors of RP, FA, Domestic Affairs, Justice and High Judge) are elected in January, April, July and October.
