The Democratic Socialist Assembly, or the DSA, is a user created region founded in 2011 by Opalaland. It is based upon socialist, social-democratic, communist and liberal principals.

The region was founded as a result from a crisis from its predecessor, causing an exodus and eventual dissolution of the predecessor region. The regional charter was ratified on May 11, 2011 and is the region's guiding document.

History

Some nations claimed that the founder has breached the regions charter, but the founder countered this statement by claiming that by cancelling embassy constructions, Bazlantis was in breach of the charter. Eventually, the debate ended on the 8th of April 2011 when Opalaland, along with Bazlantis formed the Democratic Socialist Assembly.
