The Scientific Directorate of Rosecordia, more often referred to as the Directorate, is a interstellar nation located in the extreme north-east of Sector A1-0, gaining statehood during the Rosecordi Secession Crisis (0BBT-1ABT).
Etymology
History
Early History (9000~ BBT - 1200)
The Directorate's earliest known records aren't records. It's a sundial, that dates to 9473 BBT, uncovered in Rosecordia's Sedimentary Layers. Most history of the Serniani itself is vague, and unclear. The earliest date at which history was recorded, was around 1200 BBT, the date at which the Directorate became the sole governing body of the planet, and began colonizing nearby planets.
The Technocratic Federation of Serniani (1000 BBT - 500 BBT)
Two Hundred Years later, the Directorate was reformed. Instead of being the sole government, it created the Technocratic Federation of Serniani, a federated state that would better represent the Serniani as a whole. This did not last.
