The Emperor of Andrendia is the head of state of the Axolotl Empire of Andrendia.
This figure exists since 1577, when it replaced the Emperor of the Axolians after the Miracle of Axolia.
There have currently been 16 emperors, all under the Oloto Dynasty.
Title
The full title of the Emperor of Andrendia is "[Emperor's name], Emperor of Andrendia and of the Tirriatico Sea, King of the Fire Mountains, Commander of the Axolotls and of their Followers and Florist of Azaelism".
The only parts of the title that origin from Andrendia itself are "Emperor of Andrendia" and "Florist of Azaelism".
The other three titles have different origins:
- "Emperor of the Tirriatico Sea" comes from the Tirriatican Empire, a major Pre-Axolian State that controlled the Tirriatico Sea.
- "King of the Fire Mountains" comes from the Vulcanbonian Kingdom, where this was the title of the monarch of the nation.
- "Commander of the Axolotls and of their Followers" has two origins, the "Commander of the Axolotls" was the leader of the Axoland Kingdom and, later, the Axolian Empire. Meanwhile the "of their Followers" part was added by the Axolian Empire, as the title of the Leader of the Cult of Axolotls.
