Enosi (Aegean: Ενοση, lit. 'Unity'), also known as the Central Block Unit or MKB (from the Aegean: "Μονάδα Κεντρικού Μπλοκ", lit. 'Central Block Unit' or MKM), is the first module of the Orizontas-1 Space Station to have been launched. The MKM provides electrical power, living quarters, propulsion, and guidance to the Orizontas-1 during the initial stage of assembly. With the launch and assembly in orbit of other modules with more specialized functionality, it will be primarily used for orbital corrections (and possibly storage), but this is still in debate. The Enosi is a spacecraft designed completely from scratch for the Orizontas Seria Program. The name Enosi ("Unity") was given to the MKM because it signified the union of various modules and maybe countries to create something greater. It was built by the Space and Aeronautics Rhaynan Administration, and it is owned by the United Provinces of Rhayna, Néa-gy and Alla-gy.

Construction

The MKM design was built from scratch as the core module of the Orizontas Seria Program. The first launch of an MKM module, the 18 May 2022 was successful. Although no status information was received from the Enosi module for 3 days, contact from the module with SARA Headquarters at Rouketa was re-established in 21 May. The communication problem was declared as a software problem of the module's telecommunications computer, without any problem with the physical state of the module discovered through the self diagnostic systems aboard Enosi. This makes the first launch of the Gaheia-P rocket a success.

The Enosi module is capable of station keeping and provides sizable battery power, it also has been suggested the use of future iterations of this module, or even the same design, as usual core of future Orízontas Seriá Program stations.

The research and development of the Enosi module was paid to SARA by UPRAN, and the design of the module and all systems are Rhaynan. The United Provinces of Rhayna funded Enosi in the 2020s as the first module for Orizontas-1, built from October 2021 to December 2021 in Rhayna at the Florentios State Research and Space Center (FKEDK) in Rouketa.

Design

Gaheia-P in Enosi's launch configuration

Enosi has a mass of 36,660 kilograms (80,820 lb), is 10.1 metres (33 ft) long and 4.2 metres (14 ft) wide at its widest point without extended solar panels, and 23 metres (75 ft) when extended.

The module has three docking ports: one axially on the front end at the docking cone, one on the opposite direction and one perpendicular on the starboard end at the docking cone. Attached to the forward port and the starboard port are the Manned Spacecraft Adapters MSA-1 and MSA-2, respectively. To the aft port is planned the docking of the in-progress Andreía module through the Pressurized Arrow Spacecraft Adapter PASA-1.
