History
Wars of unification and proclamation of the sultanate (1328-1432)
During 1328, the wealthy Emirate of Darussalam began expanding to its neighbors, projecting its power over the other states in the area. The Emirate of Diriyah would be annexed in 1329, creating the Emirate of Darussalam and Diriyah. The Brotherhood of the Order of Nusairiyya, which controlled the areas around Nusairiyya and Buq'a would be annexed following a victorious campaign by Fatih III in 1352. This created the Emirate of Darussalam, Diriyah, and Buq'a. In 1388, the Ganharan Confederacy invaded the Emirate, beginning the Great Ganharan War. In 1431, the Confederacy was defeated and a peace treaty was signed in 1432. This saw the Emirate become the newly formed Sultanate of Fatiniyya Darussalam.
