The Confederation of Losavra is a country on Northern Cordilia In between Ikaranara, Ryccia, and Sugovia. It is characterized by its high population, vast agricultural industry, and extreme groups of Frankists, communists, and other radicals. Losavra is extremely fertile, with approximately 12,767,600 hectares of arable land. However, a large portion of this land south of the Bivbi is compromised and unproductive due to terrorist and extremist organizations that control parts of the country.

History

Ancient Era (600 B.C.E to 425 C.E)

When the first Indavrals from Ryccia were pushed out, some traveled past traditional Ikaranarean boundaries and into the land of modern Losavra- Historically land before the River Bivbi was called Lasa Ikarver (After the Tribes of Dominance.) The Lands of the tribes who went past the Bivbi were called the Bivrals. The Lasa Ikarvrals and Bivrals skirmished over land, dominance of the Bivbi, and limited resources like iron and certain animals- however, these clashes were rarely actually an organized effort, as the tribes were mainly nomadic and their concepts of territory were loose.

The War of the Grand River (580 B.C.E)

Little is known about the War of the Grand River, as record-keeping from the time is sparse, but there are enough sources to tell that is was a clash between the Lasa Ikarvrals and Bivrals that was much more well organized then previous attempts, partially due to iron trade with the Indavral nations to the north. The Lasa Ikarvrals had much more iron available due to this trade, and while it seems their tactics were rudimentary, it was clear that the Lasa Ikarvrals overwhelmingly achieved victory. With their victory came demands of territory that pushed the Bivrals back past the Bivbi, giving the Lasa Ikarvral tribes full control over the Bivbi.

The First War of Domination (543 B.C.E)

The budding Triangular Empire made up of an alliance between Ikarn, Narus and Ranaras set their sights on the Losavral tribes and their territories in the 540s B.C.E. The First War of Domination was a one-sided war between the highly advanced and militarized Ikaranareans and the weak, disorganized Lasa Ikarvrals. They were completely defeated and annexed into the Triangular Empire with 3 provinces: Balvra for Ikarn, Talana for Ranaras and Kossal for Narus.

The Second War of Domination (540 B.C.E)

It was only 3 years after the Lasa Ikarvrals were annexed that the Bivrals were annexed as well. When the Lasa Ikarvrals had lost control across the Bivbi, the Bivral tribes took the territory back, which the Triangular Empire used as a basis for war. However, the Bivrals had learned from their loss in the War of the Grand River, and their forces were more effectively made into a fighting force. They proved a much greater challenge to defeat than the Lasa Ikarvrals,

The Battle of Parnal Hill

The Battle of Parnal Hill was notable due to the fact that it was Ikarn's first recorded loss on the battlefield. The allied Bivral tribes set up on a hill, and the overconfident Ikarnians charged up the hill, killing thousands of Ikarnians and routing the Ikarnian army when the tribes counterratacked. Despite this one victory, The Second War of Domination ended with the anexation of the Bivral lands and complete and utter domination of the river Bivbi by the Triangular Empire.

Midevial period (426 C.E to 1500 C.E)

Renaissance (1500s to 1700s)

During the Renaissance, the Triangular Empire started to see itself decline- it was not on the forefront of new technologies, but lagged a year or two behind in technology. The modern Losavran tribes are thought to have gained some sort of common identity in this period due to discontent from the decline, coming to see the Ikaranareans as foreign occupiers rather than comrades. The term Losavra for non-Ikaranarean lands south of their traditional boundaries was coined in the early 1700s,

War of the Two Coalitions (1600-1615)

Losavrans were still loyal to the Triangular Empire during the War of the Two Coalitions, and they fought hard against the Tzarans. An Ikarnian military commander who commanded a Losavran army during the war commented:

"The people of the southern tribes have a significantly easier time changing tactics and weaponry to be based around the Arquebus. 'proper' Ikarnian troops have needed an extreme amount of retraining to cope with the complete change in our battlefield tactics."

After the war, a large part of Tzara, a part with a large coast was given to a Losavran state as a reward for their participation in the war.

The Revolt for Freedom (1753-1762)

Calls to leave the Empire had been growing in scale since the early 1700s, one politician calling the Ikaranareans "Foreign invaders who exploit our land and use our people for their own imperialist desires." Things finally reached a breaking point where several supply hubs of guns and ammunition were attacked and stolen, and garrisons in the region were overrun. The militiamen of the Losavral Movement fought long and hard over 8 years, and the war grew steadily more unpopular in Ikaranara, especially Ikarn, whose men, making up most of the forces, were getting disproportionately killed. With no more will to fight the war and a refocus of policy to Pastrala, The three Triangular Emperors signed a treaty releasing their territories and signing in the existence of a unified Losavran Confederation.

The Age of Democracy (1800 to 1945)

The Confederation of Losavra before 1945 was widely considered to be a bastion of democracy across the region; its system, allowing each of the 24 recognized tribes to cast 1 vote on matters of national importance, but letting every individual citizen cast a vote for the election of both regional and national officers worked well, and the Losavrals were a generally happy population; however, the threat of the Father States to their north led them to enact conscription policies and trade for tanks and other machinery that they didn't have the necessary resources to make. Even with their conscription and a higher population, however, they were still considered to be weaker then the Father States and their military equipment and training was considered to be lackluster and behind. Still, before the invasion by the Father States, Losavra was a generally prosperous nation.

The Age of Occupation (1945-1955)

On April 22nd, 1945, the Father States led a brutal offensive into Losavral territory, bombarding Řavabos and Iversa with bombing raids, shelling Losavral positions with overwhelming firepower, using tanks to destroy small towns and obliterate the smaller, more lightly armored Losavral counterparts. The Father State's methodical advance through the Confederation lasted for only 14 days, after the Government in Řavabos capitulated and signed a peace treaty which annexed them into the Father States' territory. The entire country of more than 100 million was unable to form any major resistance, and any that formed was crushed easily.

During the Occupation of Losavra, numerous atrocities were committed against people who tried to resist the Father States' total rule. An estimated 3 million people were killed during the 10 year occupation, accused of trying to stand up to the Frankist regime. Several generals who ordered these killings were executed during peace trials.
