The Scientific Directorate of Rosecordia, more often referred to as the Directorate, is a interstellar nation located in the extreme north-east of Sector A1-0, regaining statehood during the Rosecordi Secession Crisis (0BBT-1ABT).
Etymology
A Scientific Directorate is a government where a committee of scientists supervises the government apparatus for maximum efficiency.
History
Early History (18,000~ BBT - 4300~)
The Directorate's earliest known records aren't records. It's a sundial, that dates to 18000~ BBT, uncovered in Rosecordia's Sedimentary Layers. Most history of the Serniani itself is vague, and unclear. The earliest date at which history was recorded, was around 4300 BBT, the date at which the Directorate became the sole governing body of the planet, and began colonizing nearby planets.
The Technocratic Federation of Serniani (4300 BBT - 1500 BBT)
Two Hundred Years later, the Directorate was reformed. Instead of being the sole government, it created the Technocratic Federation of Serniani, a federated state that would better represent the Serniani as a whole. This did not last.
