The Caeledian Empire (Olharian: Caeledian Empire; Felathrian: Impero Celediano; Guanedian: 伟大的帝国), colloquially known as Caeledia, is a sovereign multinational state located in western Adhikend, bordered by the Centauri Imperium in the west. Caeledia's territory is characterized by a wide range of vastly different geographies and climates, caused both by the empire's location and the intense concentration of environmental magical fields. The empire has a total area of km2, and a population of 712 million (as of 1921), which makes it the x largest country by area, and the x most populous in the world.
Caeledia is a constitutional monarchy. The country is divided into 40 Imperial Provinces, each with their own nobility, whose territories mostly match those of the many pre-existing states and kingdoms that were conquered by Caeledia in its past. Kustannuksa's capital and largest city is Sonjen, whose metropolitan area has a population of over 5 million people; other major population centers include the cities of Obair’stilenn, Yinivurnum, Seubizia, Voivodata, Erghrebod and Kalyany.
Contemporary Caeledia is one of the world's most highly developed and industrialized nations, with an increasingly urban population and a longstanding tradition of vast welfare programs and extensive infrastructure networks. The Caeledian Empire is renowned world-wide for its advancements in magico-technological integration, as well as its broader technological and scientific prowess: the varied and ancient magical traditions and practices of the many peoples it rules over have allowed Caeledia to create a vast workforce of magicians specialized in anything from botanics and agriculture to ground-combat and aeronautical engineering. Caeledia is highly diverse, and inhabited by a wide variety of races and ethnicities. Partially due to the sheer complexity of the demographic mosaic that characterizes the empire, all imperial races share equal status with one another, and over the decades have thoroughly mixed: most communities and settlements within the empire are highly cosmopolitan and diverse, although certain races and ethnicities tend to be more prevalent in different provinces and regions. Apart from its native demographics, large populations of immigrants and refugees have developed permanent communities within Caeledian territory, thanks to the empire's expansive civil liberties and diverse society.

Geography
The Caeledian Empire's territories are located in the easternmost part of Adhikend. Caeledia's mainland is mainly delimited by the Parvathian Alps to the west and the Laharad Mountains to the north: the two almost-intersecting mountain chains geographically isolate the empire from the rest of the continent, and have protected the entire area from outside invasions for millennia. The empire's territories also include the entirety of the Theyaln Islands and the entire Aladerven Island Chain, stretching well into the South Antahenian Ocean. Caeledia borders the Centauri Imperium to the west, the x to the northwest and the x and x to the north.
The coastal and inland valleys of the empire are traversed by a large amount of rivers that flow from the mountain chains into the vast valleys as tributaries of the Hunai and the Sevei, the two most important rivers in the empire that discharge into the North Antahenian Ocean and whose basins were the cradle for all civilizations in the region.
