Ferdinand VIII Luniere is the longest-reigning King of Prydon, who started his reign when he was only 16 on 5th of October 1836 until his death on 9th of October 1901, shortly after his 81st birthday. Ferdinand VIII's reign was known widely as a time of peace and progress in Prydon, a period known as the Ferdinand's Peace, although in reality the King had to contend against peasant rebellion and attempted coup. Ferdinand's long reign saw the beginning of reforms that would transform Prydon into a constitutional monarchy by the dawn of the 20th century, as well as economic transformation and industrial revolution.
