The Federal Investigation Committee or FIC (also referred to as the "Wolf Patch Group" or the "Wolves") is the Intelligence agency of Ikaranara. It operates both domestically and abroad.

History

The FIC was formed in 1970 to supplement the police force by investigating bigger crimes and crimes considered to be against the Ikaranarean state. The FIC however saw its first international operations in the Ikaranarean War on Terror in Losavra against the Great Losavral Frankist Party. They were involved in multiple captures and assassinations of top GLFP leaders and for providing military intelligence using a series of double agents, wiretapping, interrogations of captured members of the GLFP and various other methods. This lead to the formation of the FIC's second purpose of collecting intelligence and operating abroad and not only in Ikaranara. This eventually led to a bureaucratic split in the FIC. The two parts of the FIC are called as follows: The Black Committee, responsible for working inside of Ikaranara, and the White Committee, responsible for foreign operations.

Current Operations

the FIC is currently heavily involved in Losavra and has been responsible for many actions, including the capture of Tellav Zakra of the Losavral Frankist Movement and in investigations following the assassination of Terran Mandrake. It is unknown to the extent of FIC involvement in nations outside of the three Indavral nations as the FIC does not typically perform "loud" actions like assassinations and raids in nations outside of Losavra.

Cultural Impact

The FIC has had a major impact on Ikaranarean culture. It is displayed in popular media in a myriad of ways. An Ikaranarean show about a Narus full of gangs popularized the phrase "Thrown to the Wolves" as a shorthand for being captured by the FIC.
