National emblem

The national emblem of Pelinai is the Pelinese Sakura, a stylized depiction of a white-and-red cherry blossom centered on a ten-pointed star. It is the most common symbol of the Pelinese state on mediums such as documents, postage stamps, and websites; unlike the national flag, it is not normally used or displayed by non-governmental persons or entities. Both the simplified and standard versions of the emblem are used in different official contexts, along with special or modified variants such as the Sekisei mosaic.
