The Main Directorate of Military Intelligence (GUVR), formally the Main Military Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Pelinai, is the central military intelligence organization of the Pelinese Armed Forces. It directs the strategic-level military intelligence activities of the Pelinese military and oversees its other military intelligence entities, including both branch-level agencies and directly subordinated divisions.

The GUVR is placed under the general staff of the Pelinese Armed Forces, rather than a specific branch or the wider Pelinese Ministry of Defense. Administrative supervision is assigned to the chief of general staff, while operational command is exercised by the Director of the GUVR under the minister of defense. Its principal subordinate agencies include the military intelligence agencies of the Pelinese White Army, the Royal Pelinese Navy, the Royal Pelinese Air Force, and the Royal Pelinese Space Force, as well as the Royal Pelinese Homeland Guard when it is reassigned to the MoD; it also possesses multiple non-branch-associated entities such as the Spetsnaz-GUVR, the Intelligence Analysis Corps, and the Regional Activities Divisions.

As a military intelligence agency, the primary responsibilities of the GUVR include collection of strategic and operational intelligence on matters relating to foreign militaries, such as the assessment of foreign military capabilities, the monitoring and interception of communications, the identification and location of military targets, and other such tasks, as well as tactical-level operations such as electronic reconnaissance. The GUVR also operates a significant force of special forces, the Spetsnaz GUVR, which performs special reconnaissance and direct action operations in support of both peacetime foreign policy objectives and military operations.
