The Lootuu is a class of over [tbd] cruisers built for the Mandate Fleets and Remote Fleets of the Treecuu Star Empire. It is based on the modular Uuvat platform from which the other current Treecuu cruiser classes also are derived. It is primarily designed for space denial and long-range border patrol and exploration, but its replaceable mission modules enable a wider use that can overlap other Uuvat cruisers. The Lootuu-class is a fundamental improvement over the preceding Epeem-class in range, modularity and durability. Its xxx multiplex hull material and displacement field shield significantly increases the survivability against a wide range of weapons despite the class being intended for fire-and-move tactics.

Lootuu means remote/distant or far-reaching in the Treecuu language.
