The Clerk of the Assembly is responsible for writing new content and ensuring that existing content is kept up-to-date on both the forums and gameside Gazette, alongside writing and amending content on the countless Assembly guides present on the forums. The powers and responsibilities of the Clerk are defined at the start of a new presidium by the newly elected Chair.
The incumbent Clerk is Welly, they were appointed by BlockBuster2K43 on November 19th, 2023. They are the second person to serve in this position
Election
The Clerk is nominated and appointed by the Chair of the Assembly. They serve at the pleasure of the Chair and they are able to be removed from their position at any time.
Roles, responsibilities & powers
The Clerk of the Assembly's powers which can be exercised without the Chair's prior consent are,
- Write new content and amend existing content (to ensure that the content in question is accurate and up-to-date) present on the Assembly Gazette both forums and gameside currently being utilised by the Assembly of the South Pacific.
- Write new content and amend existing content (to ensure that the content in question is accurate and up-to-date) present on guides created by the Assembly of the South Pacific (Legislator’s guide, Chair’s guide, Historical Chair’s information, etc.)
