The Weissersteiner Empire is a major spacefaring nation located in the central part of sector A1-0. It borders the Tarassian Union to its northwest, the Ryccian Empire to its north, the Imperium of Astra & Pheonixia and the Dovian Star Confederation to the east, the Treecuu Star Empire to the south, the Star Empire of Calerost to the southwest, and the Tiyanki Territories to its west.

Before Terran colonists arrived in the region, the area now known today as Weisserstein was home to several different sentient empires, such as the Ruven, the Zeniran, and the Pharali. With the arrival of Terran colonists, the power dynamic slowly shifted over the centuries. With the supposed extinction of the Ruven, Zeniran, and Pharali species, the Terrans make up 80% of the population sometime after the Great Pharali War.

History

Quinumvirate Era

The Quinumvirate Era refers to the period in Weissersteiner history where five major Terran-dominated nations (known as the Quinumvirate) maintained peaceful coexistence with each other, those being the Archkingdom of Weisserstein, the United Kingdoms of Holland, Nederland, and the Brabantines, the Emirate of Jazeera, the Most Serene Republic of Rocova, and the Kingdom of Corvinus, Patron Saint of Corvinia. These five nations would form the bulwark of resistance against Pharali expansionism and imperialism in the region.
