The House of Lichtenburg-Hohenzollern (Alman: Haus Lichtenburg-Hohenzollern; Sugovian: Haus Lihtenburg-Hohenzollern; Spaninol: Casa de Lichtenburg-Hohenzollern) is a prominent Weissersteiner noble family. It is currently the reigning imperial house of Weisserstein, the reigning royal house of Lichtenburg-Prussia and the Sugovian province of Sunland. The dynasty is amongst the most prominent dynasties in Pacifica, with various members being part of the Weissersteiner, Sugovian, and Sunlandic nobilities among others, ruling over various realms as counts, princes, dukes, archdukes, kings, and emperors. The dynasty originated from the marriage of Wilhelm, the Crown Prince of Lichtenburg, to Elizabeth, the Crown Princess of Prussia. Following the couple's ascension to the throne in 1801, the dynasty became the ruling family of the newly united kingdom of Lichtenburg-Prussia, and following the Proclamation of the Weissersteiner Empire in 1815, the family became the ruling imperial family of Weisserstein.
Both the House of Lichtenburg and the House of Hohenzollern traces their lineage back to the medieval Luitpoldings dynasty, part of Friedwartine nobility. For this reason, the marriage between Wilhelm I and Elizabeth I was seen at the time as the reunion of the two branches of the dynasty.
