Garylandia was Delegate of the South Pacific from 14 July to 17 July 2003.
Garylandia created his nation in late June (estimated by population) and joined the South Pacific forums on 11 July 2003.[1] He became delegate when Alpha C was ejected from the United Nations on 14 July,[2] having 220 endorsements at the time, the highest in the region.[3]
Garylandia did not log in between 12 July and 17 July,[4][5] and may not have been aware he was delegate. Due to this inactivity and concerns about hacking after the believed takeover of The Fathoms Below by The XYZ Affair, South Pacificans were encouraged to unendorse Garylandia and endorse Gatren, the nation with the second highest endorsement count.[6] Gatren succeeded Garylandia as delegate on 17 July 2003, winning the seat by just a few endorsements.[7]
