Gatren was Delegate of the South Pacific from 17 July to 19 July 2003.
Gatren was present in the South Pacific in May 2003, though was ejected by The XYZ Affair.[1]
After former delegate Alpha C was ejected from the United Nations on 14 July, the delegacy passed to Garylandia. However, Garylandia had not been online since 12 July. Due to this inactivity and concerns about hacking after the believed takeover of The Fathoms Below by The XYZ Affair, South Pacificans decided to replace him. Gatren was the nation with the second highest endorsement count, and as he was active and had shown up on the forums, South Pacificans were encouraged to endorse him.[2] Gatren succeeded Garylandia as delegate on 17 July 2003, winning the seat by just a few endorsements. [3]
During their delegacy, Gatren did not eject any nations[4] and issued a statement pleading for stability.[5]
Gatren was ejected from the UN on 19 July 2003,[6] reportedly for using a friends' computer several weeks before the ejection rather than intentional multying.[7][8] They were succeeded by LadyRebels.
