Government of Anserisa (Pacifica)
The government of Anserisa is composed of the three branches. The executive branch is composed of the Republican Commission, headed by the President. The legislative branch is composed the Congress of the Republic, itself composed of two houses, the upper house is the Council of Regions, headed by the Principal Councillor and the lower house is the National Convention, headed by the General Representative. The General Representative is also de facto First Congressist. The Judiciary is composed of the Supreme Court of Justice, headed by the Principal Supreme Judge.
The government is responsible for the general administration and the lawmaking of Anserisa and the interpretation of the laws. The executive is responsible for the applications of the laws and the general administration, the legislative is responsible for the lawmaking and the judiciary is responsible for the interpretation of the laws.
Wordmark
Traditionally, the government of Anserisa uses the standardized signature with the Escutcheon of Anserisa and the name of the entity, generally Republica d'Anserisa. On 7th March 2020, the government introduced a new wordmark, that is to be used on non official documents, mostly destined to be used for the promotion of Anserisa internationally. It is the work of Marketignio Anserisano.[1]
Faces of Anserisa
The people representing the different governmental organs of Anserisa are often called by the population, the Faces of Anserisa for they are heading the different institutions which are essential to the administration of the country.
Separation of powers
The separation of powers is clearly defined by the Constitution of Anserisa[2], the three branches each have powers over the other and independence from the other branches.
Structure of government
The structure of the government of Anserisa was designed for the guarantee of independence from each branches of government and for a good system of counter measures from one branch over the other. The judiciary branch is the simplest of branch, it is nominated by the executive branch, mainly the President but with the approval of the legislative branch, through the Council of Regions. The Council is also responsible for the nominations made by the President, mostly the other members of the Republican Commission. Even in the legislative, the two houses have checks over each other, the Congress of the Republic being the place for the resolve of matters concerning the two houses. The President can also veto laws made by the legislative branch and they also have the opportunity to remove a presidential veto. The judiciary is also responsible for the general checks over the decisions made either by the executive or legislative branches and to ensure that they respect the Constitution.
