The Supreme Court of Justice (Anserisan: Atriuma Suprema da Justicia) is the judiciary branch of the Republic of Anserisa. It is led by the Principal Supreme Judge. Its origin dates to the Imperial Court of Justice created during the Anserisan Empire
The Supreme Court of Justice is responsible for resolving the constitutional conflicts between the different constitutional entities, resolve the civil and criminal cases and to apply the Constitution, mainly by suspending laws, rules and directives which are in contradiction with the Constitution. It is the only entity with the ability to interpret the Constitution.
Members
The Supreme Court is composed of 7 Supreme Judges nominated for mandates of 10 years. There nomination is made by the President of Anserisa, with the approval of the Council of Regions.

Powers and functions
The Supreme Court of Justice has powers over all the laws, rules and directives of Anserisa, the Supreme Judges can suspend any law, rule or directive which, to the best of their knowledge of the law, does not abide by the Constitution. The Supreme Court is the only entity with the power to interpret the Constitution and making a judgment on the matter. It is also the institution which resolves constitutional conflicts and the major civil and criminal cases.
Council of Envoys Manor
The sittings of the Supreme Court happen in the same building that was housing the Council of Envoys meetings since the Treaty of Envoys in 1387. It was chosen by Emperor Hadriano for the location of the Imperial Court of Justice.
