The XYZ Affair

The XYZ Affair was the delegate of the South Pacific for a short period in June 2003.

She was a member of the Atlantic Central Command and had been present and endo-swapping in the South Pacific for some time in June 2003 . In mid-June, a game glitch caused Goddessness to lose over 400 endorsements, and The XYZ Affair became the new delegate . Site administrators were alerted but took no action.

The XYZ Affair ejected many nations, including previous delegate Goddessness, over the course of a week. In the first week of July, a South Pacifican resistance pushed The Fathoms Below into the delegacy. This resistance included future delegates LadyRebels and Tsunamy, with support from other regions including the West Pacific. The Fathoms Below was inactive for several days before again ejecting nations, claiming to be hacked and under the control of the XYZ Affair ; though some suspected The Fathoms Below retained control and used The XYZ as a scapegoat.

The XYZ Affair was last active onsite on 18 June 2003. Accounts vary on whether she was banned from the game or if she simply went inactive.
